Ujjain

Ujjain, an ancient city on the side of the Kshipra River in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The city is famous for the century-old Hindu pilgrimage site where the Mahakaleshwar temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas situated in India, is situated.

It is placed on a towering structure with a distinctly ornate roof. In addition, the Harsiddhi temple, Bade Ganesh temple also attract visitors coming here. Kumbh Mela in Ujjain is also an important event held every 12 years.

So it is a holy place for Hindus. In addition number of temples, caves, ashrams are also here that attracts thousands of visitors every year.
