The Soochipara falls is the most picturesque place on the periphery of Wayanad. It offers a panoramic view of a white stream of water clinging to rocky cliffs and trees making its way to rivers.

It is a 3-tier waterfall with a height of about 200 meters. Water falling from 200 meters forms a large pool. Tourists have to trek 30 minutes to reach the pool, where you get a chance to do swimming, bathing, and other recreational activities.

This waterfall finally joins the Chaliyar River after flowing in the Vellarimala Hills of Tamil Nadu. Tourists can see the tea gardens, rocky shores, and dense forest. Walking towards the main tank of the waterfall, you also increase the chances of seeing many wild animals.

Soochipara falls is also considered an ideal place for trekking and rock climbing.
