Tarin Fish Farm is a high altitude fish seed farm in the Ziro valley which is about 3.5 km from Hapoli town, Arunachal Pradesh of North East India. The place is surrounded by pine and bamboo groves and is situated in the Bulla village inhabited by Apatani tribes. The unique procedure of paddy cum fish cultivation is one of the major attractions of Ziro. In this process, two crops of rice (Mipya and Emoh) and one crop of fish (Ngihi) are raised together. Tarin Fish Farm is approachable only by Trekking and best traveled in the springtime. The farm covering an area of 7.4 hectares of land, was established under NEC in 1985-86. There are 74 ponds for fish breeding, out of which 46 are nursery ponds, 16 are rearing ponds and 12 are stocking ponds.
