Unlock 4.0 - India relaxes Lockdown in a phased manner to start economic activities in the country. This will save the lives of lakhs of poor people who are searching for jobs to feed their families. But that is not sufficient to safeguard their livelihood for a long time. Moreover, it is not practicable to continue lockdown for an indefinite period. Lockdown 4.0 will start on 1st September 2020 and continue up to 30th September 2020. It has been observed that even though India's mortality rates are one of the lowest in the world, people have become lackadaisical with regard to social distancing. So, Govt. is telling citizens to maintain the rules framed by the Government in letter and spirit. It is a war-like situation, so we have to fight it unitedly, then only we will be able to fight the Corona Virus and win the battle against COVID - 19. Though the number of corona victims is increasing very fast in our country. As of 31st August 2020, the number crosses 36,00,000; every day around 70,000 new cases are coming up. The death toll crosses 64,000. Worst affected states are Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The good news is that the recovery rate in our country is very high more than 60%. The mortality rate is also very low as compared to other countries. Started from China, Corona Virus, or COVID - 19 diseases spread rapidly all over the world, more than 200 countries are affected. The worst affected countries are the USA, Brazil, Russia, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, France, German, North Korea, China and so more. Death toll around 8 lakhs to date in the world, and the number of affected persons crossed 2.5 crores in the world. Citizens have been asked to remain in houses unless an emergency arises. Seeing the status of the death toll and the number of affected persons in those countries, India was taken a positive step to contain the spread of disease in India. Govt. is appealing to citizens to stay home, especially aged and kids. Without urgent need peoples should not go outside, School, Collages, Training institutes, Cinema halls, swimming pools, will be closed till 30th September. Religious places are open with some restrictions. Limited number of long-distance trains are running. Night Curfew has been withdrawn. As a result of Lockdown, the Travel, and Tourism industry affected badly, unnecessary movement of people is banned. Few relaxations also being announced. Domestic Air services resumed, but International services will remain suspended until further order. Metro Services will start from 7th September with all restrictions. From 21st September Schools may run with 50% staff. Students from class IX to XII may come to school with their guardians consent. Lockdown may be continued only on containment zones. States has been advised Lockdown in Non-containment zones to be implemented only after discussion with centre. Social gathering, Political meeting etc. may be performed with 100 number of participants only. So tourists are advised not to go anywhere for the time being but plan future tour program and visit the tourist places as soon as the normalcy resumes.
