There are 12 Jyotirlingas (the devotional representation of the God Lord Shiva) in different parts of India which are worshiped by Hindus in India and abroad. The Jyotirlingas are as follows :-
1. Somnath Jyotirlinga, Gujarat. 2. Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga, Andhra Pradesh. 3. Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
4. Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, Khandu, Madhya Pradesh. 5. Baidyanath Jyotirlinga, Deoghar, Jharkhand. 6. Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, Maharashtra. 7. Rameshwar Jyotirlinga, Tamil Nadu. 8. Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Dwarka, Gujarat. 9. Kashi Viswanath Jyotirlinga, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
10. Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, Nasik, Maharashtra. 11. Kedarnath Jyotirlinga, Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. 12. Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
