Jim Corbett Trip is a short weekend trip in the vicinity of Delhi. You can stay in a forest, where the chirping of birds, the sound of the wind flowing through the leaves, the sound of a river stream, and sometimes the sound of wild animals are heard. You will stay amidst the flora and fauna of the national park.
A number of activities you can perform here. Three types of safari, namely Jeep safari, Canter safari, or Elephant safari can be performed. In addition, a sightseeing program of the nearby attractions can also be done.
You will be delighted by seeing the wildlife movies in the night and will enjoy dinner in the serene forest environment of Jim Corbett Park.
The national park is 255 Km away from Delhi which can be covered in nearly 6 hrs. by road.
The itinerary of Jim Corbett Trip is detailed below:-
Day 1. Start early morning (breakfast on the way) from Delhi by Road and reach Jim Corbett in the afternoon. Go to a hotel or Rest house and take lunch. Leisurely stroll around the rest house to get an overview of the area. Return to Guesthouse and take dinner after doing some activities. Go to bed for rest.
Day 2. After breakfast go for a safari in the Jungle. Enjoy the adventurous journey through the forest full of wild animals, deer, a variety of birds, snakes, and more. In the afternoon after taking dinner go sightseeing. Return to the rest house and enjoy taking a cup of hot tea-coffee. You can pass time by seeing movies on wildlife and then going to bed after taking dinner.
Day 3. If you have time go to Nainital, the lake city (ready-made breakfast in the car) which is 141 Km away from Jim Corbett and requires 4:30 Hrs. to reach. Reach by 11 AM go to a hotel and after keeping the luggage visit Nainital, Naina Devi temple, and other places. Do shopping in Mall Road, can perform boating in the lake. Take lunch in between. In the evening enjoy in the shopping area of Nainital lake, enjoy a cool breeze. In the night go for rest in the hotel after enjoying a delicious dinner.
Day 4. Start for Delhi in the early morning (breakfast on the way) and reach Delhi by afternoon.
