Rajasthan is known for its UNESCO heritage hill forts. In addition, it is famous for Palaces, Lakes, Fairs, and festivals. The rich culture of Rajasthan also attracts a large number of tourists every year. Songs and folk dances are also very charming. Ship of desert, Camel ride, white sand desert, vibrant and colorful festivals also very encouraging.
Local attires, Turbans also add to the beauty of the places. Local cuisine also satisfies the taste buds.
Rajasthan is the largest state area wise, so, it is not possible to cover all the places in a short span of 6 to 8 days. But to get a glimpse, 7 days Rajasthan tour covering Jaipur, Swai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pushkar, Jodhpur, and Udaipur is sufficient.
Our plan for seven days tour are as follows:-
Day 1 - Pink city Jaipur: Reach Jaipur in the morning. Go to a previously booked hotel, relax for some time, come out after taking breakfast. Visit iconic Amer Fort, Nahargarh Fort, and Jaigarh Fort (lunch in the restaurant inside the fort). Among them Amber Fort is great. Elephant ride in Amer Fort is an amazing experience. Return in the evening, on the way visit Jal mahal, Take a few snaps on the backdrop of Jal mahal Palace wearing Rajasthani dress. Return to hotel, after dinner goes to bed for rest.
Day 2 - Jaipur: After breakfast visit other places like Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Pink city, Museums, Temples, and parks (Lunch in the city market). Collect a few souvenirs from the market for relatives and friends. After dinner go to bed for a sound sleep.
Day 3 - Ajmer Shariff and Pushkar: Start early morning for Jodhpur ( breakfast on the way). First stop at Swai Madhopur, visit world heritage Ranthambore Fort, Ranthambore National Park, Khandar Fort, Hati Bhata, Sunehri Kothi. Second stop at Ajmer, visit Ajmer Shariff, Then go to nearby Pushkar, visit Brahma Temple (the only temple of Brahma in the world), Varaha Temple, Pushkar lake, Ratnagiri hill (Lunch in between), can enjoy Camel Safari. Stay at Pushkar in a hotel or can go to Jodhpur and reach Jodhpur, the blue city at night and enter the hotel previously booked and go to bed after dinner. Take sound sleep after a hectic journey.
Day 4 - Jodhpur: Rise early in the morning and go sightseeing after breakfast in the hotel. The blue city Jodhpur is on the foothill of majestic Mehrangarh fort, bustling bazaars, and golden sands. Experience Jeep safari in the desert, can participate in the Opium ceremony, Take meal at Pal Haveli. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Day 5 - Udaipur: Start early morning for Udaipur (Breakfast en route) and reach around 11 A.M. after a long 5 Hrs. journey. Go to a hotel, relax for some time. Come Out from the hotel and start sightseeing in the city of lake, Udaipur. Visit a few places of attraction today. In the evening relax and take a visit to the market places for collecting souvenirs. Go to bed after dinner in the hotel and take a sound sleep.
Day 6 - Udaipur: After breakfast go sightseeing in the places which were not covered on the previous day. The places of interest are City Palace, Zenana Mahal, Fateh Prakash, Durbar Hall, Lake Pichola, Scenic Sunset view, Jagdish temple, and Sahelion-ki-Bari. You can enjoy an Evening Motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola, with an additional charge.
Day 7 - Return to Jaipur: In the morning start from Udaipur to reach Jaipur (Breakfast and Lunch on the way). After a long 10 hours journey, you will reach Jaipur. Take an evening flight or train for reaching to your destination.
